The goal of the Kinetic Typography project was to take a word (or two words) and add motion/animation to the typography in a way that fit the word’s theme. Using only After Effects, I was able to create the effect of a black hole bending light around itself. A secondary goal for myself was to animate the project in a way that it could be played on a loop (as demonstrated in the video). While not necessary, I implemented sound design which I thought added an extra layer of personality to the animation as a whole.
